Luis Gutierrez Stormed Out Of House Chamber During SOTU

Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez stormed out of President Donald Trump’s first State Of The Union address Tuesday night as “USA” chants erupted on the House floor.

Towards the end of Trump’s speech, Gutierrez was spotted on camera getting up and exiting the chamber after Trump praised monuments across the country. As members of Congress applauded the president’s comments, the Illinois Democrat rose from his seat and walked out the door.

“Monuments to Washington and Jefferson — to Lincoln and King. Memorials to the heroes of Yorktown and Saratoga — to young Americans who shed their blood on the shores of Normandy, and the fields beyond,” Trump said. “And others, who went down in the waters of the Pacific and the skies over Asia. And freedom stands tall over one more monument: this one. This Capitol. This living monument to the American people. A people whose heroes live not only in the past, but all around us — defending hope, pride, and the American way.”

This was Gutierrez’s last State of The union address as a member of Congress, as he announced in late November that he would be retiring after this term.

Crazy Adam Schiff Continues to Melt Down Over Vote to Release FISA Memo – Gets Pummeled on Twitter

Adam Schiff is melting down. He lost big time Monday after the House Intel Committee voted in favor of releasing the FISA memo to the public.

Schiff said his motions to delay the release of the explosive memo were voted down.

The Democrat memo WILL NOT be released at the same time as the GOP memo which sent Schiff into a tailspin.

Old Schiffty also said the GOP House Intel Committee has opened an investigation into the FBI and DOJ.

It gets better! The Democrats have not yet released their memo to the committee for review which is why it wasn’t released Monday. Oh well!

The Democrat Rep. sent out a late night unhinged tweet hemming and hawing over the damning FISA memo set to rock his world. He then got called out for misleading the public about the Democrat counter-memo.

Senators Press Podesta And Other Democrats About Dossier-Related Contacts

Two Republican senators are pressing top Hillary Clinton campaign and DNC officials for details of any contacts they had with Christopher Steele, Fusion GPS employees, and several government officials regarding the infamous Trump dossier.

Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham sent letters this week to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, strategist Joel Benenson, and former DNC chairwomen Donna Brazile and Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

The letters ask for communications records involving top Obama administration officials as well as several previously undisclosed employees of Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that commissioned the dossier.

The letters also seek information regarding any communications with two longtime Clintonworld hatchet men — Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer.

Grassley Releases Strzok-Page Texts Showing FBI Was ‘Pulling Punches’ In Clinton Probe

A text message exchange between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page is evidence that the FBI was “pulling punches” in its investigation into Hillary Clinton, a top Republican senator is alleging.

In a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, drew attention to a Feb. 25, 2016 text message exchanged between Strzok and Page.

The message was included in seven pages of messages that Grassley released on Thursday. The Justice Department recently provided six congressional committees with 384 pages of text messages between the pair.

As deputy chief of the FBI’s counterintelligence division, Strzok helped lead the Clinton email probe. Page, with whom he was having an affair, is an FBI lawyer who worked directly under Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Battle Over FISA Abuse Memo Heats Up

The Justice Department is making a last-ditch effort to prevent the release of a controversial memo alleging surveillance abuse involving the infamous Steele dossier.

In a letter sent Wednesday to California Rep. Devin Nunes, the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), Justice Department official Stephen Boyd argued that it would be “extraordinarily reckless” for the committee to release the memo without first consulting the Justice Department and FBI.

Boyd asserted that the “unprecedented” move could create national security risks and damage future investigations.

Nunes and South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy, another Republican on the committee, put together the four-page classified memo based on documents provided by the Justice Department and FBI.

Because of its sensitivity, lawmakers who have seen the document have refused to discuss its contents. But it is believed to allege that U.S. investigators improperly handled the Steele dossier and improperly obtained Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants against Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

POTUS Trump Goes Scorched Earth on “FBI Lovers” Peter Strzok and Lisa Page ‘Where Are the 50,000 Text Messages?’

According to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, 50,000 text messages were exchanged between Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page. These 50,000 text messages do not include the ‘missing’ texts.

The FBI ‘failed to preserve‘ six months of text messages between Trump hating FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page, blaming a ‘technical glitch’ with Samsung 5 phones.

The timeline of the ‘missing’ text messages which begins on December 14, 2016 and goes through May 17, 2017 which is the same day Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel is very suspicious.

President Trump lit up Twitter Tuesday morning blasting the ‘missing’ texts then went scorched earth again on the FBI lovers late Tuesday night.

Please, President Trump, don’t ever stop tweeting!

Trump tweeted, “Where are the 50,000 important text messages between FBI lovers Lisa Page and Peter Strzok? Blaming Samsung!”

Former SS Agent: 'S*hit Is About to Hit The Fan' As House Intel Committee Prepares To Use 'Never-Before-Used Procedure To Release FISA Abuse Memo

Over the weekend, in an attempt to distract from an explosive release of a FISA abuse memo produced by the House Intelligence Committee that reportedly details FBI and DOJ fraud and abuse under the Obama administration, Senate Democrats decided to block a funding bill with demands to provide amnesty for illegal immigrants, causing a government shutdown.

The weekend was brutal for Senate Democrats and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, after Americans found out that they were willing to block funding for our military personnel to be paid, among other government functions, in order to protect illegal aliens.

A website called #SchumerShutdown was set up, while the same term started trending on social media. The White House voicemail started informing callers "Unfortunately, we cannot answer your call today because Congressional Democrats are holding government funding—including funding for our troops and other national security priorities—hostage to an unrelated immigration debate. Due to this obstruction, the government is shut down."

The horrid optics and backlash from putting illegal immigrants above our troops and American citizens forced Senate Democrats to cave on Monday, resulting in the end of what could be one of the shortest government shut downs in recent memory. The underlying reason Senate Democrats forced the initial shutdown wasn't really about the so-called "Dreamers," but in reality was their utter panic to do anything at all to prevent the FISA abuse memo and other damaging revelations from dominating the headlines.

FBI ‘Failed To Preserve’ Five Months Of Text Messages Between Anti-Trump FBI Agents

The FBI “failed to preserve” five months worth of text messages exchanged between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, the two FBI employees who made pro-Clinton and anti-Trump comments while working on the Clinton email and the Russia collusion investigations.

The disclosure was made Friday in a letter sent by the Justice Department to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC).

“The Department wants to bring to your attention that the FBI’s technical system for retaining text messages sent and received on FBI mobile devices failed to preserve text messages for Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page,” Stephen Boyd, the assistant attorney general for legislative affairs at the Justice Department, wrote to Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of HSGAC.

He said that texts are missing for the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017.

Boyd attributed the failure to “misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI’s collection capabilities.”

“The result was that data that should have been automatically collected and retained for long-term storage and retrieval was not collected,” Boyd wrote.

‘SH*T IS ABOUT TO HIT THE FAN’: Ex-Secret Service Agent Warns ‘Devastating’ FISA Memo Set To ‘Expose’ Obama

Lawmakers from Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) have called for the classified memo’s immediate release. According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the contents of the memo are so “explosive,” that it could end special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe once and for all.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino warned the release of the FISA report will destroy the image of his former boss Barack Obama.

“Take it to the bank, the FBI/FISA docs are devastating for the Dems. The whole image of a benevolent Barack Obama they’ve disingenuously tried to portray is about to be destroyed. The real Obama, the vengeful narcissist, is going to be exposed for all to see,” tweeted Dan Bongino.

“Release the memo and watch the rats run away like the cowards they are. Your mind is about to blown, and your eyes open, to both the power of the federal govt, and the vengefulness of an Obama administration hellbent on destroying Trump,” added Bongino.

Last week, Bongino called the Steele dossier firestorm is “the most explosive scandal.”

Report: FBI Agent Shared Russia Probe Information With Christopher Steele

An FBI agent shared the name of former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos with Trump dossier author Christopher Steele during a meeting in early October 2016.

That new bit of information was revealed in a column published Wednesday by Washington Post columnist David Ignatius.

Ignatius reports that Steele, a former MI6 agent, met with an old FBI contact in Rome around Oct. 1, 2016 to share findings from his investigation into Donald Trump’s and the Trump campaign’s associations with the Russian government.

“At this meeting, the FBI official asked Steele if he had ever heard of Papadopoulos,” reports Ignatius, who cited an official familiar with the meeting as his source.

According to Ignatius, Steele had not heard of Papadopoulos, a little-known energy consultant who joined the Trump campaign as a volunteer adviser in March 2016. He pleaded guilty in October to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian nationals while working on the campaign.

Ignatius’ report reveals for the first time that an FBI agent shared information about the bureau’s investigation with Steele, who operates a private research firm in London.

House Intel Committee To Vote On Release Of Fusion GPS Founder’s Testimony

The House Intelligence Committee will vote this Thursday on whether to release a transcript of Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson’s testimony, The Daily Caller has learned.

A source familiar with the matter says that it is likely that the Republican-led committee will vote in favor of releasing the transcript of the interview, which was conducted on Nov. 14.

In his interview, Simpson was pressed on his firm’s work on the infamous Steele dossier. Fusion GPS was hired during the 2016 presidential campaign by the Clinton campaign and DNC to investigate Donald Trump. The firm in turn hired former British spy Christopher Steele to investigate Trump’s activities in Russia

Republican lawmakers have questioned the veracity of the dossier as well as how integral it was to the FBI’s investigation of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. Democrats have accused the Republicans and the White House of focusing on the dossier in order to distract from the Russia probe.

On Monday, California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House panel, called for the release of Simpson’s transcript.

It’s Looking More And More Like This Federal Court Is Sabotaging The Travel Ban

As time progresses, it appears the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is intentionally undermining President Donald Trump’s travel ban.

As The Daily Caller News Foundation noted on Jan. 6, the 4th Circuit appears to be strategically withholding its opinion on the administration’s latest round of travel sanctions, despite a Dec. 4  Supreme Court order requiring the court to produce its ruling “with appropriate dispatch.”

Such language, unusual for a Supreme Court order, indicates the justices want to review the case themselves and issue a ruling on the merits before the current term ends in June.

Time is running out, however, for the justices to take cases for disposition before the summer — late January is generally the latest the Court can take a case for resolution before the end of a particular term. Therefore, the longer the 4th Circuit strategically holds its ruling on the travel ban, the more likely it is their ruling will escape Supreme Court review for the foreseeable future, essentially blocking the policy until the justices return for their next term in October, if not later.

As of this writing, the Supreme Court will announce cases it will review on two more occasions this month. After that, historical measures suggest it is unlikely the Court will take further cases for its current term.

Trump Blasts Dems: ‘DACA Is Probably Dead’

President Donald Trump attacked Democratic lawmakers Sunday for failing so far to reach a compromise deal with Republicans on the future of the DACA program.

Trump has been embroiled in negotiations with Democrats for months over the Obama-era protections for illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children. Trump ended the program in September and told Congress if it wanted to keep the protections then it had to end chain migration, include funding for a border wall, and end the diversity visa lottery system.

Democrats have indicated they may use a failure to compromise on DACA as an opportunity to shut down the government on Jan 19.

The president also touted his belief that the U.S. needs a merit based immigration system as opposed to one largely centered around family ties and country of origin.

Leaky Schiff? Trump Accuses Democratic Lawmaker Of Leaking Details Of Russia Probe

President Trump and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders both accused California Rep. Adam Schiff of selectively leaking details of the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation.

Trump put Schiff on blast during an interview with The Wall Street Journal in the Oval Office on Thursday morning.

“All I see of these Democrats, like Adam Schiff — it’s all he does, he’ll have a meeting, and then he’ll leave, and he’ll call up the meeting, and then I’ll have a meeting and then he’ll leave. He left meetings where people are being interviewed, and then all of a sudden they say a story about what’s going on inside the meetings,” Trump said.

“It’s probably illegal, what he’s doing.”

Sanders also took a dig at Schiff during the White House press briefing on Thursday afternoon.

“The only people that we’ve seen trying to influence the investigation are former Director Comey and Democrats in Congress — and that would include Senator Feinstein, Representative Schiff — who have both selectively leaked to the media witness interviews,” said Sanders.

7 Revelations From Fusion GPS Founder’s Senate Testimony

One of the biggest takeaways from Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson’s Senate Judiciary Committee testimony is that he has no independent proof that the allegations made in the infamous Trump dossier are accurate.

An extensive review of Simpson’s 312-page Aug. 22 interview transcript shows that his strongest evidence for believing the dossier’s accuracy is that he trusts Christopher Steele, the former British spy who compiled the 35-page document.

“Chris, as I say, has a sterling reputation as a person who doesn’t exaggerate, doesn’t make things up, doesn’t sell baloney,” Simpson, a former Wall Street Journal, told Senate investigators in the interview.

But when pressed for independent evidence to support the dossier’s allegations, Simpson demurred. He also refused to discuss dossier sources or to say whether he had vetted any of them.

But that’s not the only conclusion to be drawn from Simpson’s testimony, a transcript of which was released on Tuesday by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein against the wishes of her Republican colleagues.

Here are other major revelations from Simpson’s testimony.

DOJ Official Linked To Trump Dossier Leaves Another High-Level Post

A Justice Department official who was demoted last month after he was found to have links to the Trump dossier has left a second high-level position at the agency, The Daily Caller has confirmed.

At the beginning of last month, Bruce Ohr held two positions at DOJ: associate deputy attorney general and director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF).

Fox News first reported on Monday that Ohr will no longer lead OCDETF. A Justice Department spokeswoman confirmed Ohr’s separation from that division but did not say whether Ohr resigned or was removed from the position.

Ohr’s job as associate deputy attorney general put him just a few office doors down from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is overseeing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the presidential campaign.

What Kissinger Meant By A ‘White House War’ Between Jews And Non-Jews

Henry Kissinger knows a few things about wars, about Jews, and about the White Houses. But his quip to journalist Michael Wolff on the subject, as quoted in Wolff’s bombshell new book about President Donald Trump and his circle, is setting some heads a-scratching.

“It is a war between the Jews and the non-Jews,” Kissinger, the former Secretary of State and National Security Advisor to presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, told Wolff of the Trump White House.

The full context of the quote is unclear, as the text of Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” is not publicly available as of this writing.

But based on a report in The Guardian, it appears Kissinger’s glib quip was an attempt to characterize the clash between former Trump chief advisor Steve Bannon on one side, and Jewish Trump family members Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump on the other.

So what was Kissinger, who roles in U.S. interventions in Chile, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, among other nations, led to millions of deaths, getting at in his quote to Wolff?

Freedom Caucus Republicans Call For Jeff Sessions To Resign

Freedom Caucus Chair Mark Meadows and member Rep. Jim Jordan are calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign over Justice Department leaks to reporters.

Meadows and Jordans’ call is in response to The New York Times’ report over the weekend that insisted the FBI’s probe into Russia collusion was started over George Papadopolous’ drunken conversations and not the Steele dossier. The report relied on four anonymous intelligence officials.

“The alarming number of FBI agents and DOJ officials sharing information with reporters is in clear violation of the investigative standards that Americans expect and should demand,” Meadows and Jordan assert in an opinion piece for The Washington Examiner. “How many FBI agents and DOJ officials have illegally discussed aspects of an ongoing investigation with reporters? When will it stop?”

Meadows and Jordan say that ultimately the responsibility for such leaks falls on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and if Sessions can’t get the leaks under control then he needs to be replaced.

Manafort Lawsuit Will Likely Shut Down Deep State Mueller Investigation!

Today’s report on the filing of a suit against the “Deep State” DOJ, Rosenstein and Mueller by Paul Manafort is a HUGE story. Manafort’s suit is likely to shut down Mueller investigation!

No wonder the MSM came out with the Bannon – Trump story today. Whenever a huge story comes out about Criminal and Corrupt Mueller and Rosenstein and the Deep State led DOJ, another story is released by the MSM to change the subject in the media. Today the MSM talked about Breitbart’s Steve Bannon’s remarks about members of President Trump’s family. These remarks have not yet been substantiated. However, the much bigger story in the news is that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort sued the DOJ, Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein and is demanding the Mueller investigation be shut down!

We have reported for months on the many criminal and corrupt actions taken by numerous parties related to the Mueller investigation.  Mueller never should have taken on the job in the first place due to numerous conflicts.  He is best friends with fired leaker and former FBI Director James Comey.  He met with Comey shortly before Comey testified with Congress and for this alone he should have recused himself.  The team Mueller built to attack President Trump and have him removed is all Deep State attorneys and crooks. Mueller’s record in the past is scattered with actions that let the Clintons off Scott free on numerous occasions when they should have been put in jail.

We now know that the FBI had an investigation into the Clintons and moneys they received  from Russia in return for giving Russia 20% of all US uranium. Prior to the Obama administration approving the very controversial Uranium One deal in 2010 giving Russia 20% of America’s Uranium, the FBI had evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were involved in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering in order to benefit Vladimir Putin. The FBI approved the deal anyway.  We also know that Rosenstein and Mueller were the ones who allowed the Uranium One deal to go forward.  This was the real Russia collusion story involving the US government.

Feds Ask Judge For A New Trial Against The Bundys

Federal prosecutors are asking Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro for another chance at convicting Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy for crimes associated with an armed standoff with federal agents in 2014, E&E News reports.

Navarro ruled a mistrial against Bundy and three others, including his two sons, in December after prosecutors failed to turn over exculpatory evidence that favored the defendants’ case. Navarro is considering whether the case should be dismissed “with prejudice,” blocking a retrial.

The omissions do not amount to “flagrant misconduct,” prosecutors claim and are asking for another attempt at trying Bundy, according to E&E News.

“The Brady violations found by the court are regrettable and benefit no one,” Nevada’s Acting U.S. Attorney and lead prosecutor in the Bundy case Steven Myhre wrote in a legal brief obtained by The Oregonian. “But because the government neither flagrantly violated nor recklessly disregarded its obligations, the appropriate remedy for such violations is a new trial.”

Pinkerton – The Spring of Nations: 2018 Brings Echoes of Europe’s Populist-Nationalist Rebellions of 1848

Here’s a headline that a lot of people—especially among the entrenched elite—won’t want to see: “2017 Was the Year of False Promise in the Fight Against Populism: The populist wave seems like it may have crested. The data proves otherwise.” In other words, the populists are still on the march. Uh oh. That headline appeared in Foreign Policy magazine, a publication not on the top of many populist reading lists. The two authors, Yascha Mounk and Martin Eiermann, are both associated with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Blair, as we all recall, was the prime minister of the United Kingdom for a decade; he was, and is, a devout apostle of globalism.

So the co-authors come at their topic not to praise populism but, rather, to warn against it; as they write, it’s been “a scary couple of years,” what with Brexit and the election of Donald Trump. And while they take note of high-ranking observers who have argued that populism is ebbing—one such is the conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer, who opined in April, “The populist wave has crested, soon to abate”—they disagree with that conclusion.

Indeed, just in October, the 31-year-old Sebastian Kurz was elected chancellor of Austria; he holds populist-nationalist views on immigration that can only be described as Trumpian. As the authors explain,

Populism is now the predominant form of government in a huge, populous, and strategically crucial part of Central Europe. It is now possible to drive from the Baltic Sea all the way to the Aegean without once leaving a country ruled by a populist.

Trump Aide’s Drunken Conversation Sparked Russia Probe

A Trump campaign adviser’s drunken conversation with an Australian diplomat last year was one of the catalysts for the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign.

That’s according to a new report from The New York Times on Saturday.

According to the newspaper, Trump campaign volunteer George Papadopoulos told Australian diplomat Alexander Downer in May 2016 that the Russian government had dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Papadopoulos was with Downer, Australia’s top diplomat to the U.K., in an upscale London bar.

A month prior to that encounter, Papadopoulos claims he was told by a London-based associate named Joseph Mifsud that Russian government officials had obtained Clinton emails. It is unclear whether Papadopoulos, a 30-year-old energy consultant, told anyone in the Trump campaign about alleged Clinton dirt.

Papadopoulos pleaded guilty in October to lying to the FBI about his encounters with Mifsud and at least two Russian nationals. As part of his plea deal, Papadopoulos agreed to cooperate with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
