Republican Senate will turn on Trump — they too are up to their eyes in Ukraine crime and don’t want witnesses exposing them

While the McCain club of Republican Senators led by McConnell and Graham up to their ears with Joe Biden in the pro-E.U anti-Russia pro-obama-McCain-Brennen pro-corruption pro-second-Jewish homeland at the site of ancient Khazaria coup in Ukraine that was so rewarding to Hunter Biden and sons of other US Democrat legislators, while all these have crimes and conspiracies to hide, so that neither Senate Republicans nor Democrats want a Senate trial where non-corrupt House Republican defenders of the president ask free ranging relevant questions of Schiff’s whistle blower that Schiff forbade republicans from questioning or the whistleblowers 6 sources whose identities are still kept from Republicans along with any opportunities to question them on their stories.

GOP Senators Ask Intelligence Community’s IG About Classified Leaks Of Whistleblower Complaint

Two Republican senators are asking the intelligence community’s inspector general whether he is investigating leaks of classified details of the whistleblower complaint against President Donald Trump, as well as leaks for news stories published about the Trump-Russia investigation.

“As you are aware, there have been a number of leaks of highly sensitive information in the past two years, arguably perpetrated to advance political or personal interests to the apparent detriment to the national security and the integrity of federal administrative, law enforcement, and counterintelligence investigations,” Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin wrote Wednesday to Michael K. Atkinson, the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG).

They noted that classified information about a CIA whistleblower’s complaint over a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukraine’s president leaked to the media in the weeks before the complaint was released.

The whistleblower filed the complaint on Aug. 12, but it was not made public until Sept. 26.

“However, between those dates, news reports used anonymous sources to report on information relating to the complaint and phone call that were classified at the time,” Grassley and Johnson said.

THE HOUSE IS SET TO VOTE ON TRILLION DOLLAR SPENDING BILL TOMORROW. NO ONE HAS READ IT

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a government appropriations bill Thursday evening and, with a day until the vote, lawmakers still have not received the text of the legislation.

“No one has seen the final wording of a long and complicated bill we will be expected to vote on tomorrow evening,” Republican Maryland Rep. Andy Harris told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “That’s no way to run a legislature.”

Republican Study Chairman Mike Johnson also confirmed that “as of lunch on Wednesday, members of the RSC, and to our knowledge, even members of the conference committee, had not seen the text.”

“It has been reported that [House Majority Leader Steny] Hoyer has said if the bill is dropped today we will consider it tomorrow. This is reminiscent of the, ‘you must pass it to find out what is in it,’ Obamacare debacle,” Johnson said to TheDCNF. “This bill is expected to be well over 1,000 pages, and we will potentially have less than 24 hours to digest it. This is absurd.”

REPUBLICANS WANT TRUMP TO DECLASSIFY A NEW BATCH OF FBI DOCUMENTS

Republicans for months have pressed the Justice Department to turn over classified emails that show that the FBI “withheld evidence” from the federal court that authorized surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said Sunday.

California Rep. Devin Nunes, the Republican chairman of the Intelligence panel, said in an interview on Fox News that Republicans have recently added the documents to a list of records that they hope President Donald Trump will declassify.

“For months, we have been reviewing emails between FBI and DOJ and others that clearly show that they knew of information that should have been presented to the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance] Court. It is real evidence that people within the FBI withheld evidence from the FISA court,” Nunes said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo.

Nunes did not further describe the documents, except to say that some contain information that remains redacted, even from congressional review.

The issue has gone “to the highest levels” of Congress, with House Speaker Paul Ryan “requesting the Department of Justice to give us those emails, to give us as many of those as possible,” Nunes said.

THESE ARE THE KEY RACES TO WATCH IN THE 2018 MIDTERM ELECTIONS

  • Republicans are expected to pick up seats in the Senate, but Democrats might win back a majority in the House, though it could be fewer seats than projected.
  • There are dozens of tight races to keep an eye on Tuesday night.
  • The Daily Caller News Foundation wrote up a list of the races to watch on Nov. 6.

Polling locations for the 2018 midterm elections are just hours away from opening, and both Democrats and Republicans are gearing up for some extremely tight races across the country.

According to a majority of polls, Republicans are expected to lose control of the House but keep control in the Senate after the Nov. 6 midterm elections. However, there is growing speculation that Republicans could be more successful than polls suggest.

In the Senate, there are six seats that are currently listed as “toss-up” elections, four of which belong to current Democratic senators, according to Real Clear Politics (RCP). Republicans need to maintain 51 seats in the Senate in order to keep their majority.

A SOROS-FUNDED ACTIVIST WAS CHARGED FOR ASSAULT OF A FEMALE GOP STAFFER — IT’S NOT HIS FIRST ATTACK

  • Wilfred Michael Stark has a long history of attacking Republicans and has been previously arrested multiple times.
  • Stark was employed by American Bridge 21st Century, founded by David Brock.
  • Despite multiple arrests and complaints, Brock did not fire Stark until now.

The Democratic activist funded by George Soros who was charged with battery against the female campaign manager of Nevada Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Laxalt has a long history of attacking Republicans.

Wilfred Michael Stark, 51, who was employed by American Bridge 21st Century, founded by David Brock, was fired Wednesday night after he allegedly pushed a door open, “trapping” Kristin Davison, Laxalt’s campaign manager, in the doorway, “grabbing her arm, and forcefully twisting it behind her back and squeezing,” Laxalt’s campaign communications director Parker Briden told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“She screamed, ‘You’re hurting me! Stop hurting me!’ but he would not stop and grabbed her arm tighter — creating painful bruises and straining her neck, shoulder, and lower back. The man would not relent and screamed: ‘You can make this stop, Adam.’ Kristin was terrified and begged for him to stop and could not get free until Las Vegas city marshals intervened. They arrested him, and while Kristin’s head, neck, and arm were throbbing with pain, they took him to the Las Vegas city jail,” Briden continued.

TOM COTTON BELIEVES CHUCK SCHUMER IS BEHIND FORD’S LEAKED LETTER

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Tuesday of being involved in the operation to leak Christine Blasey Ford’s letter to the public.

“I believe the Schumer political operation was behind this from the very beginning,” Cotton told conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt during his radio show.

Ford wrote Democratic lawmakers a letter in July accusing Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct more than 35 years ago. During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in September, Ford said she did not authorize the letters release, despite it being made public.

“We learned last week that a woman named Monica McLean was Ms. Ford’s roommate and she was one of the so-called ‘beach friends’ that encouraged Ms. Ford to go to [Sen.] Dianne Feinstein and the partisan Democrats on the judiciary committee,” Cotton continued. “It just so happens that Monica McLean worked for Preet Bharara, the former U.S. attorney in Manhattan, now a virulent anti-Trump critic on television and former counsel to Chuck Schumer.”

GOP LAWMAKERS INTRODUCED ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT AGAINST ROD ROSENSTEIN

Republican lawmakers introduced articles of impeachment against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the top official in the Department of Justice’s oversight of Robert Mueller’s investigation into collusion between Russia and Trump’s campaign on Wednesday.

Rep. Mark Meadows, North Carolina, and Rep. Jim Jordan, Ohio, led the charge along with nine other congress members to begin the articles after they met with DOJ officials. The other co-sponsors have not been named publicly yet.

“The impeachment articles come as evident continues to mount regarding the Department of Justice’s problematic decision making during the 2016 campaign and conduct surrounding the transition to President Trump’s administration in 2017,” a joint statement explained.

They cite a lack of accountability for the failures of the Department of Justice’s oversight of the special counsel, and the lack of cooperation between them and Congress as the reason for the decision.

“For 9 months we’ve warned them consequences were coming, and for 9 months we’ve heard the same excuses backed up by the same unacceptable conduct. Time is up and the consequences are here. It’s time to find a new Deputy Attorney General who is serious about accountability and transparency,” Meadows contributed in the statement.

DEMOCRATS RELEASE LIST OF ALL THE AWESOME QUESTIONS REPUBLICANS ASKED PETER STRZOK

Congressional Democrats released a list of questions Wednesday that their Republican counterparts asked of Peter Strzok, the former FBI official who sent anti-Trump text messages while working on the Russia investigation.

Democrats published the questions in an attempt to force Republicans to release a transcript of Strzok’s 10-plus hour closed-door testimony before the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees on June 27.

Strzok is scheduled to appear before both committees for an open hearing on Thursday.

While Democrats complained that the questions show the GOP lawmakers’ lines of inquiry appear in line with the questions that Trump supporters have raised about Strzok and the FBI’s investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

GOP CONGRESSMAN SAYS HE RECEIVED MORE DEATH THREATS IN 2017 THAN EVERY OTHER YEAR COMBINED

Republican Arizona Rep. David Schweikert says he received more death threats in 2017 than every other year he’s been in office combined.

“My fear is this is the playbook of a lot of our brothers and sisters on the left — they’re going to get fringier and fringier, louder and louder, angrier and angrier, and as you and I know, we sometimes have some folks in our society who aren’t completely healthy,” Schweikert said while appearing on “Plaidcast,” a podcast hosted by Republican Rep. Sean Duffy of Wisconsin.

“And we had more death threats last year, in my office, even one towards my little girl, than we’ve ever had in all the other years combined and my fear is that this rage that is being generated for political turnout is actually really becoming unhealthy for our political society,” Schweikert continued.

The Arizona congressman has served in Congress since 2011.

GOP LAWMAKERS INTRODUCE CENSURE MEASURE, CALL ON MAXINE WATERS TO RESIGN

Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs on Monday introduced a measure that would censure Rep. Maxine Waters and ask her to resign for inciting people to publicly confront Trump administration officials.

Biggs told The Hill that Waters’ comments do “not become somebody who’s in Congress” and warrant disciplinary action.

“So we just introduced it, we have some cosponsors, but what she did was to basically incite people to come after and attack members of the president’s cabinet,” the Arizona Republican told The Hill. “And also spread that out to more people.”

“Everybody agrees that it was just highly objectionable what she did,” he added.

The measure calls on Waters to apologize to Trump administration officials “for endangering their lives and sowing seeds of discord,” to release a statement making it clear that violence and harassment aren’t appropriate ways to protest, and finally to resign her House seat.

“If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd,” Waters told a gathering Saturday. “And you push back on them. Tell them they’re not welcome any more, anywhere!”

Trump Considering Another Controversial Pardon

President Donald Trump has signed off on a pardon for I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, who was convicted in 2007 of perjury, obstruction of justice, and making false statements.
Trump has been considering a pardon for Libby for months, ABC News reported Thursday. Several conservative operatives and attorneys pressed Trump for the pardon, according to ABC.
Libby was convicted in 2007 of lying to the FBI about his role in leaking the name of covert CIA agent Valerie Plame. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison in the case, but President George W. Bush commuted his sentence. Bush declined issuing a pardon.
Libby resigned from the White House in October 2005 after being indicted in the case.

If the pardon goes through, it will be the second high-profile pardon Trump okayed. Maricopa Co. Sheriff Joe Arpaio was pardoned on Aug. 25, 2017, for a criminal contempt of court conviction.

Daniel McCarthy on Tariffs: ‘The Republican Party Was Built on Economic Nationalism’

Daniel McCarthy, the editor of the conservative Modern Age, told hosts Matthew Boyle and Amanda House on Breitbart News Saturday that the “Republican party was built on economic nationalism.”

Boyle first discussed McCarthy’s op-ed in the New York Times, which makes the case for President Donald Trump’s tariffs on steel and aluminum as well as his “America First” economics.

McCarthy wrote in the New York Times:

For 25 years, free-trade orthodoxy has been a bipartisan consensus among America’s policy elite. Conservatives might editorialize about it more, but liberal presidents arguably advanced free trade the most, from Bill Clinton’s signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement to Barack Obama’s negotiation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. (George W. Bush, by contrast, put tariffs on steel, though he did so without the trade-war rhetoric that Mr. Trump has relished.) With his signing on Thursday of a tariff order, Mr. Trump appears once again to be setting himself against the mandarins of both parties.

McCarthy told Boyle and House that the economic nationalism was a pillar of the Republican party up until recent memory.

House Intel Dems Are Accused Of Inaccurate Leaks Of Hope Hicks Testimony

Democrats on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence are being accused once again of leaking inaccurate information about the panel’s Russia investigation, this time from testimony given on Tuesday by White House communications director Hope Hicks.

In an interview on CNN on Wednesday, Rep. Tom Rooney, a Florida Republican, accused Democrats of leaking Hicks’ comment in her nine-hour interview that she has told “white lies” on behalf of President Donald Trump.

Hicks’ remarks were first reported by The New York Times. Numerous other outlets picked up the story, touting it as a bombshell.

But Rooney told CNN’s Erin Burnett that Hicks’ comments — as reported by the press — were innocuous. He also asserted that Hicks fell victim to “a trap” set by Democrats. The White House aide tendered her resignation on Wednesday, and it is unknown whether her testimony had anything to do with the decision.

“We’ve interviewed scores of witnesses and now we’ve gotten to the point now where we’re literally bringing people in for nine hours just so the Democrats can leak to the press something as ridiculous as ‘white lies,'” said Rooney, who was in the room when Hicks was being interviewed.

Devin Nunes Reminds Everyone How Obama Is Responsible For The Russian Threat

Rep. Devin Nunes sounded off at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Saturday on how former President Barack Obama allowed to Russia to gain prominence during his administration.

“We went through a whole European infrastructure consolidation process of military installations across Europe, abandoned a lot of abilities in the North Atlantic to track Russian subs,” Nunes said.

“We actually had the president of the United States, who said on a hot mic to the prime minister of Russia at the time, ‘Just tell Vladimir to wait after the election.’ That was President Obama who said that.”

“So who created this Russian threat? Who? It was the last administration that put us in this position,” Nunes said.

Le Pen At CPAC: ‘All I Want Is The Survival Of My Nation’

French nationalist Marion Marechal-Le Pen earned a warm reception at CPAC Thursday, despite numerous conservative pundits denouncing her appearance.

Le Pen mocked the criticism she was a “national socialist” and not a real conservative with the opening lines of her speech.

“Hello my fellow conservatives!” the 28-year-old National Front politician greeted the crowd. “I hope you see me as less terrifying than how the American media portrays me because it’s crazy. Yesterday, I was a fascist — today, I’m a socialist!”

The conservative crowd, for the most part, cheered for the niece of French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, and little in her speech sounded out of place in a setting like CPAC. The younger Le Pen emphasized Franco-American friendship, her support for President Trump, her nationalist opposition to globalism and her social conservatism.

“French blood was spilled on American soil when our friendship began. Over two centuries later, here at CPAC we are once again standing side-by-side for freedom. This freedom is a gift. Freedom of speech, freedom of conscience,” Le Pen said of France’s long relationship with America.

Intriguing Links Emerge In GOP Led Dossier Investigation

The Republican-led investigation into the infamous anti-Trump dossier has recently revealed several intriguing links between Christopher Steele, lawyers, lobbyists, Democratic politicians, a former State Department official, and a Russian oligarch close to Vladimir Putin.

Most of the revelations come thanks to Sen. Chuck Grassley. The Iowa Republican released a letter in January that cited the names of several political operatives and lawyers who had not previously been linked to the dossier Steele wrote while on the payroll of the Clinton campaign and DNC.

And Thursday, a batch of text messages leaked to Fox News revealed that Steele used a back channel to communicate with Democratic Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Oleg Deripaska, a Russian aluminum magnate who is allied with Putin, is party to several of the connections. The billionaire has also worked closely in the past with former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

The Steele connections are being investigated by the Senate Judiciary Committee, which Grassley chairs, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. The implications of the contacts remain to be seen, but they are worth watching as the investigation into the dossier goes on.

The GOP memo proves the ‘deep state’ is real

Now that we know what the declassified House memo says about government misconduct, we also know what it means: The Washington swamp — the deep state — is bigger, more vicious and more dangerous to American liberty than even a cynic could have imagined.

Because of the memo and previous revelations, we know that swamp creatures are embedded in the top of the FBI and the Department of Justice. Some used their power to try to tip a presidential campaign based on their personal politics.

They conducted a sham investigation of the Democratic candidate and misled federal judges to spy on at least one associate of her Republican challenger.

To block exposure of their misdeeds, these officials falsely claimed that national security would be damaged. Add that despicable lie — issued in the name of the FBI itself — to their shameful records.

Thanks to the battle over the memo, we also know with 100 percent certainty that the mainstream media is part of the swamp. The efforts by The New York Times and The Washington Post, among others, to keep the memo from ever seeing sunshine were appalling.

House Intel Committee To Vote On Release Of Fusion GPS Founder’s Testimony

The House Intelligence Committee will vote this Thursday on whether to release a transcript of Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson’s testimony, The Daily Caller has learned.

A source familiar with the matter says that it is likely that the Republican-led committee will vote in favor of releasing the transcript of the interview, which was conducted on Nov. 14.

In his interview, Simpson was pressed on his firm’s work on the infamous Steele dossier. Fusion GPS was hired during the 2016 presidential campaign by the Clinton campaign and DNC to investigate Donald Trump. The firm in turn hired former British spy Christopher Steele to investigate Trump’s activities in Russia

Republican lawmakers have questioned the veracity of the dossier as well as how integral it was to the FBI’s investigation of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. Democrats have accused the Republicans and the White House of focusing on the dossier in order to distract from the Russia probe.

On Monday, California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House panel, called for the release of Simpson’s transcript.

Freedom Caucus Republicans Call For Jeff Sessions To Resign

Freedom Caucus Chair Mark Meadows and member Rep. Jim Jordan are calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign over Justice Department leaks to reporters.

Meadows and Jordans’ call is in response to The New York Times’ report over the weekend that insisted the FBI’s probe into Russia collusion was started over George Papadopolous’ drunken conversations and not the Steele dossier. The report relied on four anonymous intelligence officials.

“The alarming number of FBI agents and DOJ officials sharing information with reporters is in clear violation of the investigative standards that Americans expect and should demand,” Meadows and Jordan assert in an opinion piece for The Washington Examiner. “How many FBI agents and DOJ officials have illegally discussed aspects of an ongoing investigation with reporters? When will it stop?”

Meadows and Jordan say that ultimately the responsibility for such leaks falls on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and if Sessions can’t get the leaks under control then he needs to be replaced.
